Role Description
The Intensive Cardiac Rehab (ICR) Director is responsible for leading our organization through the initial launch of the Pritikin ICR program and ensuring its ongoing success and growth.
- Formal Policy Setting - As required and delegated by healthcare facility to manage and implement on site.
- Decision Making/Problem Solving - Monitor overall program and implement and monitor best practices for Pritikin ICR program. Establish succession planning for possible turnover and identify qualified candidates for growth.
- Formal Supervisory Responsibility - Dietitian, Patient Liaison, Exercise Physiologist or Specialist, Mental Health Professional
- Patient Interactions are regular and required
- Compensation: commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities Description
- Oversee Pritikin ICR Program
- Oversee Pritikin certification agreement and Best Practices compliance.
- Serve as primary ICR Liaison and Pritikin subject matter expert (along with registered dietitian)
- Assist Medical Director with cardiologist calls.
- Ensure all new employees complete Pritikin training and evaluate staff competencies.
- Maintain portal user list, adding new employees and deleting employees no longer working with Pritikin ICR Program.
Qualifications
- Degree preferred. Documented experience as prior Cardiac Program Director required.
- Extensive knowledge of Pritikin ICR Program
- Formal Education - Pritikin ICR Deep Dive, Remote Training and Team Training
- Be personable, motivated, and able to focus on both business and patient health
- Experience as Cardiac Rehabilitation Director expertise at current facility.
