Cardiovascular Medicine is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Anticoagulation Clinical team in Davenport. If you enjoy working behind the scenes and you're comfortable using technology in a fast-paced healthcare setting this may be the perfect fit for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the patient needs within the Anticoagulation Clinic, including patient education, medication dosing instructions, patient compliance, documentation and follow-up under the direction of the Medical Director.
- Enter patient and medical data into the EMR for new referrals and established patients.
- Manage patient refills for anticoagulation medications using the prescription refill protocol.
- Utilize effective documentation skills within the electronic medical record.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of a medical assistant program.
- Must be a certified medical assistant (AAMA, CMA, RMA, or NCCT)
Skills & Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management.
Able to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using computer systems and electronic medical records.

Pay Range:$19.50 $28.00 per hour, based on experience
