What You'll Do
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities that cater to the interests and abilities of residents with memory care needs.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents to determine their preferences and adapt activities accordingly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to resident care and engagement.
- Document participation and progress of residents in activities, providing feedback to the care team.
- Foster a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages residents to participate and socialize.
We are looking for Activities Staff who have the heart to serve with a compassionate, engaged personality and a dedication to ensuring exceptional outcomes and a high degree of resident satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with memory impairments or in a similar care setting.
- Certification in therapeutic recreation or a related field.
- Experience in developing and implementing activity programs for seniors.
