What You'll Do

The Weekend Receptionist at Hamilton Trace plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during the weekend. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for visitors and residents alike, serving as the first point of contact for inquiries and assistance. The receptionist will manage multi-line phone systems, handle administrative tasks, and maintain an organized front desk area. By effectively communicating with staff and guests, the receptionist contributes to a positive experience for everyone who enters the facility. Ultimately, this role is vital in upholding the reputation of Hamilton Trace as a friendly and professional establishment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors and residents in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Operate office equipment such as copy machines and printers to support daily operations.
  • Ensure the front desk area is tidy and organized, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a healthcare or residential setting.
  • Familiarity with office software and equipment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
