Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative/Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing sales orders, and supporting the sales team to meet targets. This role also involves maintaining inventory, handling shipments, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and efficient. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work in both sales and warehouse environments, ensuring seamless operations from order processing to product delivery. This position requires multitasking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with team members across departments.

Essential Job Functions

• Inside Sales Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing product information and assisting with order placement.
• Process and manage sales orders accurately and efficiently in the system.
• Follow up on leads, quotes, and customer requests to close sales.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to drive repeat business.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals.

2. Inventory Management:

• Load and unload freight trucks with electric forklift
• Use electric forklift to store and move inventory
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming and outgoing shipments with corresponding paperwork, packing slips, etc.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels
• Use inventory management systems to track product movement and update stock records
• Correspond with management to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications

3.Order Fulfillment:

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently (shipments that will be moved by hand will range from 1lb to 85lbs)
• Create online shipping labels, BOLs, and schedule freight shipment pickup and deliveries
• Verify product/s quality and quantity before shipping

4. Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product information, answer inquiries, and offer recommendations
• Process sales transactions either in person or over the phone accurately and efficiently
• Process returns, exchanges, and warranty claims as needed

5. Warehouse Maintenance:

• Ensure the warehouse space is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Arrange and display products to maximize visibility and appeal
• Monitor inventory and warehouse supplies, communicate with management on the reorder of items as needed

6. Product Knowledge:

• Stay up-to-date on product offerings, promotions, and inventory to effectively assist customers
• Provide accurate information to customers regarding product availability, specifications, and pricing

7. Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for inventory control, shipping, and sales

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
• Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or warehouse operations is preferred
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus

2. Skills and Abilities

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or warehouse operations is preferred
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in order processing and inventory management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships with customers
• Proficiency in computer knowledge (Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, QuickBooks preferred)
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• High level of initiative, self-motivation, with a proactive and positive attitude
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and tasks
• Ability to be a team player
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be a US citizen
• Will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Will be required to pass a pre-employment background check
