POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Accountant is a highly accountable and results-oriented professional who is ready to hit the ground running by working with the bookkeepers everyday to ensure accuracy of projects and clients financials. The goal of this position is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Financial Services team and help our clients to understand their financial condition, allowing the correct decisions to be made in order for the organization to accomplish long-term success and scalable growth.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Extending beyond just managing the client’s account by being pivotal in driving client relationships & revenue to ensure long-term success of 10X FS
- Ensuring that clients have a clear vision into their financials to make strategic decisions through the work done by 10X FS
OBJECTIVES
Perform reconciliations – monthly / quarterly / annuallyEnsure that monthly bank & credit card reconciliations are completed timely for month-end close deadlinesMaintain records of financial transactions by posting, verifying, and allocating appropriately within multiple accounting systemsExecute Accounts Receivables and Account Payables tasks for clients (i.e., paying bills, sending invoices, following-up on past-due invoices, etc.)Maintain complete digital files and work papers that support financial recordsAssist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements as requested from owners and CV financial stakeholdersPrepare weekly receivables and payables reportingUpdate financial data in a timely manner and ensure it is accurate via weekly soft reconciliationsProactively identify, propose solutions, and / or communicate to the supervisor in a timely manner if the information is not accurate or the close deadlines will be missedAssist in measuring KPIs and preparing financial reporting packagesAssist in coordinating the preparation and compilation of year-end reporting, financial statements, and reconciliations for CPA firm, for tax return preparationEnsure that all clients in the book of business financials are closed by the 15thRetain 90% client retention year over year due to providing extraordinary resultsCOMPETENCIES
Ability to process and interpret accounts payable and accounts receivableCan manage bank and general ledger reconciliations as well as payroll processingKnowledge of best practices for performing month-end closingsAbility to track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedulesUnderstanding of how to prepare the trial balanceWorking knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Procedures (GAAP)Working knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks OnlineAbility to work with project management software (e.g.,Asana) and G-Suite (Slides and Docs)Strong with numbers and figures and possession of analytical acumenAbility to work with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellasStrong knowledge of financial reporting requirementsAccounting experience with retail, e-commerce, construction, and / or HVAC industry is a plusEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, or equivalent business experienceAt least 2 years’ progressively responsible experience in Accounting and Financial management practices10X TOTAL REWARDS
