CardWorks Servicing is seeking a highly motivated and technical Microsoft Intune Engineer to join our IT team. You will play a critical role in securing and managing our mobile devices (phones, tablets), laptops, desktops, and other endpoints by designing, implementing, and maintaining our Microsoft Intune environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Intune Design and Implementation:
Design and implement Microsoft Intune solutions for endpoint management, including:
Device enrollment (autopilot, manual, etc.)
Configuration policy creation and deployment (security, access control, compliance)
Application deployment (Windows apps, mobile apps, line-of-business apps)
Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and procedures.
Endpoint Security Management:
Implement and maintain security baselines and compliance policies using Intune.
Manage device encryption (Bitlocker) and conditional access for secure access to organizational resources.
Monitor endpoint health and ensure adherence to security best practices.
Application Lifecycle Management:
Package applications for deployment through Intune.
Deploy and manage applications across different platforms (Windows, iOS, Android).
Collaborate with application owners to streamline the deployment process.
Configuration Management:
Create and manage device configuration profiles to enforce settings and restrictions (Wi-Fi, password policies, etc.) on various endpoints.
Intune Monitoring and Maintenance:
Generate reports to track device health, compliance status, and application usage.
Identify and troubleshoot endpoint management issues.
Stay informed about new Intune features and updates, ensuring the environment is up-to-date.
Continuously refine and improve the Intune environment based on usage data and best practices.
Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with other IT teams (Security, Help Desk) to ensure seamless integration of Intune with other IT systems.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience administering Microsoft Intune in a production environment
Strong understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Management (MEM) technologies, including Intune and Azure AD
Experience with mobile device management (MDM) principles and best practices
Working knowledge of security best practices for endpoint devices
Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell preferred) for automating Intune tasks
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Required Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) or other endpoint management tools
Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
Experience with Cloud Security
Experience with automation tools for managing Intune (e.g., Configuration Manager cmdlets)
Strong understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, other CSP’s)
