Responsibilities

- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive living environment.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or family members.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with first aid as needed and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Skills
- Experience in group home settings or similar caregiving environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Culinary skills for meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Background in nursing or caregiving, particularly in memory care or nursing home settings, is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
