Job Overview

Responsibilities

- Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at addressing addiction issues and promoting recovery.
- Engage in clinical research to stay informed about best practices in social work and therapeutic techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Advocate for clients within the community, connecting them with resources and services that meet their needs.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Experience
- A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure preferred.
- Experience working with children and families in various settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy practices and techniques is essential.
- Background in addiction counseling or experience working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders is a plus.
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies related to social work practices is beneficial.
- Proficiency in individual and group counseling techniques, as well as group therapy facilitation skills.
