JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated Outreach Coordinator to join our team. The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage with the community, raise awareness about our organization's mission, and drive participation in programs and services. Evaluate individual member care needs and communicate medical information to health care professionals. Conduct outreach to motivate, facilitate, and educate members about the benefits of programs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Manages and coordinates outreach events, health screenings, and other requests for organizations, businesses, and municipalities in order to attract patients
* Markets and promotes services and programs on a scheduled basis
* Strengthens existing relationships and cultivates new ones through working with existing physicians and new referring physicians alike
* Strategically reaches out to facilities for home care coordinator placement, referrals, and other marketing opportunities
* Coordinate professional presentations to community groups on educational topics
* Maintain the established business plan in regards to the development of relationships and contacts, resulting in increased fundraising, marketing, referrals, and overall community involvement
* Provide individuals with the resources they need to reach personal goals.
* Monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed.
* Coordinate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers and community outreach programs to provide clients with needed services.
* Complete continuing education courses to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay up-to-date on the latest practices.
Experience:
- Proven experience in social work, public speaking, and community engagement
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff and volunteers effectively
- Knowledge of addiction counseling and experience in volunteer management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate diverse audiences
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
- Lakeland, FL: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
