What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Care Specialist position at Care Animal Hospital of Pleasant Prairie?
We love our team and are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Animal Care Specialists for a full-time or part-time position. We are a progressive, 7-doctor, AAHA and Fear Free certified hospital specializing in small animals and exotics. The Animal Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy environment for all pets that utilize our hospital. They are responsible for constant cleanliness of all wards, runs, cages, exam rooms, and general cleanliness of the hospital, as well as, re-stocking of supplies. The Animal Care Specialist is also responsible for assisting doctors and technicians or assistants whenever needed, which includes Fear Free gentle control and stabilization for a variety of patients and procedures. Must be able to multi-task, work as a team and as an individual, and take direction well. No experience needed. We take medicine seriously as well as our team satisfaction and happiness. Animal Care Specialist is a great starting position for the Veterinary field!
