Position Details : We are seeking compassionate and experienced caregivers with a vehicle to provide daytime care, Thursday and Saturdays 9am to 9pm weekly. Couple need assistance with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, med reminders. Husband needs some assistance to stand, (weighs 133) uses walker and gait belt. Clients have a car that caregiver can drive. Dementia experience is required.
Ideal Candidate :
Warm and patient personality
Excellent time management skills
Ability to provide engaging and safe care
Requirements :
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a clean vehicle
Valid driver’s license, and insurance
Minimum of 4 years of home care experience
Self-directed and independent
Alzheimer’s / Dementia experience is a plus
Able to lift 100lbs
Responsibilities :
Driving clients to appointments
Assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal care
Helping with transfers, mobility, and repositioning
Providing oral, hair, skin, and nail care
Incontinence care and toileting
Assisting with feeding
Offering socialization, engagement, and support
Meal preparation and cooking
Medication reminders
Client laundry and light housekeeping
Running errands and grocery shopping
Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
