Homecare Scheduler

Location: New London, CT

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM (In-office)

Weekend On-Call Rotation Required

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? We are a privately owned, non-medical homecare agency serving Connecticut and Rhode Island, is looking for a dedicated Homecare Scheduling Manager to join our team!

About Us: As a private non-medical homecare agency we provide high-quality CNA, HHA, and Companion care for hourly and live-in clients in both Connecticut and Rhode Island. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for seniors and provide peace of mind for those who love them.

Your Role: As the Scheduling Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our scheduling operations, overseeing a dynamic scheduling team. You'll ensure our clients receive consistent, reliable care by maintaining well-organized schedules and quickly addressing any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the scheduling team to ensure efficient client and caregiver matches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling challenges with creativity and a calm demeanor.
• Collaborate with caregivers, clients, and the Director of Care Management to address feedback and improve processes.
• Stay proactive by introducing new strategies for effective scheduling.
• Participate in the weekend on-call rotation to support client and caregiver needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of management experience in a homecare setting.
• Expertise: Prior experience scheduling for a homecare agency is required.
• Leadership: Ability to remain calm under pressure, provide constructive feedback, and lead a team effectively.
• Commitment: This is an in-office position located in our New London, CT office.
