What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician-RBT Training Provided position at Care Autism LLC?
*Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Online training for 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician Certification and ongoing Hybrid Clinical training is provided*
Duties:
- Implement individualized treatment plans for clients under the supervision of a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, such as home, school, or community
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with behavior assessments and functional behavior assessments
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
- Teach clients skills in areas such as communication, socialization, self-help, and academic skills
- Implement behavior intervention strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Provide support and training to parents and caregivers on implementing behavior strategies at home
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to treatment plans
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with behavioral challenges
- Ability to collect accurate data and maintain detailed records
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
