Care Connect, LLC is looking for a dedicated and experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide quality in-home support for a client in Brookfield, CT. This position is ideal for a compassionate professional who is reliable, patient, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
Position Details:
- Location: Brookfield, CT
- Schedule: Live-In (Full-Time)
- Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in home care and live-in caregiving
- Driving Requirement: Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive the client’s car
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
- Support with mobility and transfers as needed
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Medication reminders and documentation of care provided
- Engage the client in meaningful conversation and activities
- Accompany the client to appointments, errands, and social outings using their vehicle
- Monitor the client’s well-being and report any changes in health or behavior
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in home care and live-in caregiving
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving the client’s car for errands and appointments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans
- Must be patient, compassionate, and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies professionally
