As an On-Call Driver with Care Connection, you will be responsible for transporting clients to various locations in the company vehicle. While this is an On-Call position, you will need to complete our online Behavioral Health Driver training program and attend paid in-person training.
The Schedule is flexible to your availability. The Pay is $16.50-$18.00 an hour. We have 10 available positions for this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Transports clients as needed and follows all transportation safety and documentation guidelines.
- Maintains awareness, safety, security, and supervision of clients in care at all times. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with all clients in our care, agency staff, and external stakeholders.
- Follows all behavior management, de-escalation strategies, and crisis intervention protocols and procedures.
- Ensure all conduct and client interactions are Trauma-Informed and follow best practices.
- Models sensitivity and competency related to diversity and cultural awareness.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Behavioral Health Technician [BHT] experience is ideal.
- 21 years old required to be insured on company car insurance
- Must have valid California Driver’s license, exhibit the ability to operate company vans and/or vehicles safely and have a clean 5-year motor vehicle history.
- Preferred dress code: Casual (come as you are, but please be presentable) Company ID will be provided once hired.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
