Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Athletic Trainer to join our team. The Athletic Trainer will work with athletes to prevent, diagnose, and treat their injuries, as well as help them improve their overall performance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for sports medicine.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide injury prevention programs for athletes
- Evaluate and assess injuries to athletes
- Develop and implement treatment plans for injured athletes
- Communicate with coaches, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate athletes on proper nutrition, hydration, and training techniques
- Maintain accurate medical records for all athletes
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in sports medicine
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
- State licensure as an Athletic Trainer
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of sports injuries and rehabilitation techniques
