As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans to improve their auditory health and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conducting hearing tests and evaluations to determine the extent of hearing loss
2. Counseling patients on hearing loss prevention and protection
3. Fitting and dispensing hearing aids and assistive listening devices
4. Providing audiological rehabilitation services
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
6. Educating patients and their families on hearing health and treatment options
7. Conducting research and staying current on advancements in audiology technology
8. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
9. Monitoring and evaluating treatment progress

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctoral degree in Audiology
2. State licensure and certification in Audiology
