We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our medical team. The CST will assist surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room is prepared and that all necessary equipment is available. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating room for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile field throughout procedures
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team
- Manage surgical equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
- 2 years of experience in a surgical setting
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Basic computer skills
