Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST-OR) to assist in performing surgical procedures in the operating room. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and patient care during surgeries.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare operating room for surgical procedures.
2. Assist in positioning and prepping patients for surgery.
3. Pass sterile instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures.
4. Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
5. Assist in closing surgical sites and applying dressings.
6. Ensure proper care and handling of surgical instruments and equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is required.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a surgical technologist in the operating room.
3. Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
