Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting tests on various samples to analyze body fluids, tissues, and cells to help diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely results that contribute to patient care and treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including but not limited to blood tests, urinalysis, and microbiology tests
- Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare providers
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure its proper functioning
- Follow strict protocols and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of test results
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide recommendations for patient care
- Comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines in the laboratory setting
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
