Job title: Experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to join our team in the operating room. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and be able to assist surgeons in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up and maintain sterile field for cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Anticipate surgeon's needs during procedures and provide necessary instruments and supplies
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery
- Handle and care for surgical specimens
- Collaborate with other members of the surgical team to ensure successful outcomes for patients
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and supplies used
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a CVOR Surgical Technologist
- Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instruments
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
