Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Instrument Management Coordinator (Technician) to oversee the maintenance and management of all instruments within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all instruments are properly calibrated, maintained, and available for use as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage the calibration and maintenance schedule for all instruments within the organization
- Coordinate with vendors for repair and maintenance services as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure instruments are functioning properly
- Maintain accurate records of instrument inventory and maintenance history
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with instruments to minimize downtime
- Train staff on proper instrument handling and usage
- Assist in the procurement of new instruments as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
- Previous experience working with instruments in a laboratory or manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
