Job Title: Laboratory - Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our laboratory team. The MLS will be responsible for performing complex medical laboratory tests, analyzing and interpreting results, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of findings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests including hematology, bacteriology, chemistry, and immunology
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality control and assurance procedures are followed
- Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare providers
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from a recognized accrediting agency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems and electronic medical records
