Job Title: LPN/LVN Medical/Surgical
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic LPN/LVN to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform routine nursing procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheterization
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program
- Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical/surgical nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- BLS certification required
