Job Title: LVN/LPN Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing care to residents in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and providing high-quality care to elderly and disabled individuals in need of long-term support.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans for residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor residents' vital signs and overall health status
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' care and progress
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current LVN or LPN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and medical terminology
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
