Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist/ Medical Lab Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Lab Scientist/ Medical Lab Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on patient samples to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. They will work closely with medical professionals to analyze and interpret test results, maintain laboratory equipment, and adhere to strict quality control guidelines.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests on patient samples using automated equipment and manual methods
• Analyze test results and communicate findings to healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and report abnormalities to medical staff
• Adhere to strict quality control and safety guidelines in the laboratory
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
• Assist in the training and supervision of new laboratory staff
• Keep abreast of new developments and technologies in the field of medical laboratory science

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
• Certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Understanding of laboratory safety protocols and quality control measures
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and technology
