Job Title: Laboratory Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. The MLT will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating diseases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical laboratory technology and a commitment to accuracy and precision in their work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collecting and analyzing samples, such as blood and tissue, for medical testing
- Performing routine and specialized laboratory tests according to established protocols
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Recording and interpreting test results
- Maintaining quality control and ensuring accuracy in test results
- Communicating with healthcare providers to relay test results and provide additional information as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
- MLT certification from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
