Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician/ Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLT/MLS)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician/ Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine medical laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct routine and complex tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids.
2. Analyze and interpret test results.
3. Prepare specimens for analysis.
4. Maintain accurate records of test results.
5. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
6. Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and safety protocols.
7. Communicate test results to physicians and other healthcare providers.
8. Assist in the training of new laboratory technicians.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field (MLT) or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS).
2. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control procedures.
