Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and examinations on patient samples
- Analyze test results and accurately report findings to physicians
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Follow strict protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Maintain accurate records of all tests performed
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in medical technology and laboratory science
- Adhere to all safety and quality control standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and computer systems
