Job Title: Nurse Manager (Occupational Health)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee our Occupational Health department. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support to employees in a workplace setting. This role requires strong leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and a commitment to promoting employee health and wellness.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Develop and implement occupational health programs and initiatives to promote employee well-being and prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
2. Monitor and manage the health and safety of employees through health assessments, screenings, and interventions.
3. Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee health and safety.
4. Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in the Occupational Health department.
5. Conduct training and education sessions for employees on health and safety topics.
6. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for employees and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
7. Serve as a liaison between employees, healthcare providers, and management to facilitate communication and coordination of care.
8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in occupational health and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree preferred
3. Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) preferred
4. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in occupational health or a related field
5. Strong leadership and management skills
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
7. Knowledge of occupational health regulations and guidelines
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
