Job Summary:
Our facility is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Long Term Care (LTC) team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to our residents while promoting their dignity and well-being in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and monitor residents' health and well-being, including medication management and treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop care plans and provide comprehensive care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Provide emotional support and assistance to residents and their families
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in long term care or a related setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in electronic medical records systems
