Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Short Stay Unit team. The ideal candidate will provide expert nursing care to patients in need of short term medical treatment and observation, focusing on ensuring the highest quality of patient care and comfort.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the Short Stay Unit
- Monitoring patient vital signs and condition, and adjusting care plans as needed
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educating patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a short stay or acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
