We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry - Cardiac, Float, Step Down, and Critical Care units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed by the physician. This position will involve working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and progress
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Telemetry, Cardiac, Float, Step Down, or Critical Care nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
