Job Title: Sleep Technologist
Job Summary:
As a Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting various sleep studies and tests on patients to help diagnose and treat sleep disorders. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to analyze data and provide valuable insights to support patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up and calibrate sleep study equipment
- Monitor patients during sleep studies and tests
- Record and analyze data obtained during sleep studies
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret results and create treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information
- Educate patients on sleep disorders and treatment options
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sleep disorders and treatment options
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
