Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Master's level Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team and provide support to individuals and families in need. The Social Worker will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling and support services to help improve their overall well-being. This position requires compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
2. Provide individual and group counseling to clients experiencing mental health issues, substance abuse, or other challenges.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and services for clients.
4. Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources and services.
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
6. Participate in team meetings and trainings to enhance professional development.
7. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations.
8. Educate clients and their families on available community resources and support services.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
2. Licensed as a Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of employment.
3. Strong clinical skills and experience working with diverse populations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
6. Knowledge of social work ethics and best practices.
7. Proficiency in computer skills and electronic health records.
