Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technician Ops Tech Lead Pharmacist to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy department. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Lead and supervise a team of pharmacy technicians in day-to-day operations
2. Oversee medication dispensing and ensure accuracy of prescriptions
3. Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies
4. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
5. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
6. Train and mentor new technicians on pharmacy procedures and protocols
7. Troubleshoot any issues that arise in the pharmacy department
8. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Licensed as a pharmacy technician in the state of employment
2. Previous experience in a leadership role within a pharmacy setting
3. Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures and regulations
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
