Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Infusion RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Infusion RN to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering infusion therapy to patients in various healthcare settings while providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administering IV medications and fluids to patients as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patient vitals and response to treatment during infusion therapy
- Collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educating patients and families on infusion therapy procedures and at-home care
- Documenting patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring safe practices during infusion therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
