Optum is seeking an accomplished Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Heart & Vascular center with The Everett Clinic located in Everett, WA. The Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician will function as an Outpatient and Inpatient Cardiology healthcare provider, who with physician oversight, will work in collaboration with a broad multidisciplinary health team located at one clinic and hospital in Everett. The APC will be responsible for providing comprehensive care in an outpatient and inpatient setting, demonstrating a high degree of clinical expertise working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses. APC will be responsible for assessment, understanding of diagnosis, treatment, co-management, education, health promotion and care coordination for patients and families with acute and chronic health needs. The ideal APC candidate will demonstrate an advanced level of medical / nursing clinical knowledge, will be proficient in communication, both with patients and families and within the practice and thrive in a setting based upon interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism and system-based practice.
The Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician will provide care within their scope of practice as outlined by applicable state laws, licensing, regulations, institutional policy and practice agreements.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Treating and managing cardiology patients according to standard, usual and acceptable or customary methods and techniques with 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient responsibilities.

Required Qualifications :
APRN or PA-C licensure in Washington or ability to obtain prior to employmentNational Nurse Practitioner certification through AANC or AANP or Physician Assistant certification through NCCPA or ability to obtain prior to employmentDEA or ability to obtain prior to employmentBasic, technical computer proficiencyPreferred Qualifications :
1 years of cardiology experience, 2 years of Primary Care experience, or 3 years of RN Cardiology or other inpatient medical specialty experienceEPIC EMR familiarityWashington Residents Only : The salary range for this role is $109,513 to $147,146 per year.
