About the Job

We are looking for a hands-on Cost Accountant IV to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a pivotal role within a small, collaborative finance team where you will work closely with site leadership to deliver key financial insights. If you thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing setting and have a proven track record in cost accounting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What youll be doing :

Managing and maintaining entries in the general ledger and reconciling sub-ledgers.

Preparing month-end close and internal financial reports.

Overseeing fixed asset transactions, including depreciation and budget forecasting.

Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring SOX compliance through audits.

Collaborating with operations, purchasing, and other teams to provide accurate financial analysis.

Preparing forecasts, sales revenue reports, and departmental budgets.

Leading financial analyses and acting as a consultant to site leadership for operational and strategic planning.

Mentoring junior team members and serving as a backup for finance management.

Requirements :

Education : Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.

Experience : 10 years in accounting, with a focus on cost accounting in manufacturing environments (electronics and / or PCB preferred).

Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel.

Experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

U.S. citizenship required (ITAR compliance).
