What youll be doing :

  • Designing and developing new tires to meet and exceed customer performance expectations.
  • Enhancing the performance of existing tire designs to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Creating and executing test plans to evaluate tire performance and reliability.
  • Analyzing tire data to optimize designs and recommend innovations.
  • Collaborating with international engineering teams and participating in industry organizations.
  • Engaging with OEMs and internal customers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Traveling to manufacturing plants to support production and oversee new tire development.

    • Requirements :

  • Experience : At least 7 years in tire development with advanced knowledge of tire construction, mold design, and tread optimization.
  • Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical Expertise : Proficiency in CATIA V5 and basic knowledge of tire FEA.
  • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with regulatory issues and tire-related standards such as TRA, ETRTO, and USTMA.
  • Collaboration Skills : Proven ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Manufacturing Insights : Understanding of processes like tire building, curing, and component preparation.
  • Travel : Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
