What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver/Personal Assistant position at Care For All in Home LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs of residents
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as eating, toileting, and medication reminders
- Ensure resident rights are respected and maintained at all times
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assist with hospice care as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in caregiving or personal assistant role preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with transfers
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining dignity and privacy
- Familiarity with hospice care procedures and protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and compassion
