Post Surgery Caregiver

Job Overview
Patient will be having kidney transplant surgery. Looking to hire a care giver for 5 or 6 hours per day for 14 consecutive days. Shift times are flexible. Options are 9am-2pm or 3pm, OR 11am-5pm or 6pm. Pay is $15-$20/HR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient for organ rejection syptoms.
• Assist patient in eating and ordering food on telephone.
• Help patient drink water.
• Help patient walk with walker to bathroom.
• Use nurse call button to call nurse.
• Use phone to update family member.

Skills

• Fluent in English.
• Caring, Empathetic, Patient, Observational.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in home care or assisted living environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and first aid practices is essential.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and healthcare professionals.

On site on job training provided.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
