Care Hawaii is seeking Psychiatric-Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurses (PMH-APRN) and Psychiatrists to join our team for our Behavioral Health Crisis Center. The BHCC is a secured unit which offers services to community members experiencing a mental health crisis. APRNs and Psychiatrists will work closely with the Medical Director, supervising APRN/Psychiatrist and QMHP as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Position Summary:
This member of the multidisciplinary team is responsible for conducting assessments; assessing physical health needs; making and supporting appropriate referrals to community physicians and for mental health services; providing medication management and administration of medications. APRNs/Psychiatirsts provide a range of contracted treatment, assessment, rehabilitation, and support services.
Position Qualifications:
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week

Position Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed provider - APRN or Psychiatry
- Experience: Preferred experience in an inpatient or ER setting.
- Required Certification/Registration: Must be licensed to practice in the State of Hawaii.
- Basic Life Support (renew upon it's expiration)
- CPR (upon hire)
- First Aid (upon hire)
- Physical (Pre-employment & Annually)
- TB Clearance (2-step - upon hire) Annually
- CPI or similar training
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
