Resident Services Coordinator CARE Communities (Open until filled)
CARE Communities is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Services Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to create equitable, high-quality, affordable housing and transformative services for residents. As the Resident Services Coordinator, you will coordinate essential daily operations of Resident Services and programs that benefit the residents we serve.

Hiring Wage Range : $22 to $25 per hour

Community Engagement & Resident Support
Build positive relationships with residents, local agencies, and community partners.Coordinate and promote programs, events, and group outings to foster community and encourage resident participation.Create and distribute monthly resident newsletters and manage seasonal initiatives like gardening plots.Resident Services & Program Development
Develop and coordinate social, educational, and self-sufficiency programs, including money management, job readiness, and youth enrichment.Meet with residents to address housing stability, eviction prevention, and personal support needs, connecting them to appropriate services and resources.Maintain a community resource guide and track resident program participation and outcomes.Property Collaboration
Collaborate with Property Management to address lease compliance issues and ensure follow-up on resident concerns.Monitor and document resident issues related to the Housing Success Program and prepare program-related reports and dashboards.Administrative & Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise student interns, ensuring alignment with internship goals.Assist with reporting, budgets, and maintaining program files as required.Support grant applications by organizing data and reviewing drafts.Event Coordination & External Relations
Plan and oversee community events, coordinating with partners, vendors, and volunteers.Represent the organization at external meetings and manage outreach initiatives.Qualifications
A bachelors degree in social work, public administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university is preferred. One year of experience and / or training in community development, social services, or a related field; an equivalent combination of lived experience, education, and experience is required. One (1) year of training or experience working with people of low-income, diverse cultures and specific populations.Knowledge of :
Must have considerable knowledge of literature and sources of information available concerning federal, state, and local laws.Must have considerable knowledge of federal, state, and local housing and social services resources.Thorough knowledge and experience in a housing assistance program or social services field preferred.General knowledge of the modern principles, practices, and techniques of maintenance, and other functional areas within affordable housing.Demonstrate a commitment to recognizing residents knowledge and experience as a valuable resource.Experience with computer software such as Microsoft Office and property management systems.Experience applying the principles of conflict management and / or de-escalation techniques, and organizing community groups, events, and programs preferred.Key Competencies :
