What you’d do as the Hospice Nurse - RN -On Call:
- Support patients and families in the time of their greatest need and respond to emergent needs on weekends, evenings and overnight. Some visits may be scheduled as well.
- Assist the caregivers and patients, provide meds available and offer teaching to ensure comfort for pain, breathlessness, dying/transitioning or support at the time of death with compassion, integrity, respect, and dignity in all our interactions.
- RN with a minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
- Current, valid CPR certification.
- Demonstrated patience and a supportive and sensitive approach to providing patient, family, and caregiver support.
- Willingness and ability to provide care in facility and patient home settings.
