What you'd do as a Spiritual Care Coordinator at Care Initiatives:
- The Spiritual Care Coordinator supports the spiritual needs of patients, families, caregivers in a manner consistent with their beliefs and desires.
- Provide comprehensive assessment of the patient, family, and caregiver’s spiritual needs.
- Participates as member of interdisciplinary team (IDT) in development of patient care plan.
- Provides services to patient/family/caregiver in accordance with care plan.
- Hospice or palliative care experience highly preferred.
- Master of Divinity Degree from an accredited seminary; religious group has the practice of ordination. If the religion does not practice ordination, but practices licensure, then licensure in lieu of ordination is acceptable; and endorsed and in good standing from the ecclesiastical governing body.
- Baccalaureate degree in psychology, sociology, counseling, or other field related to pastoral care, grief services or counseling.
