What you'd do as a Clinical Manager:
- Oversees all visits from referral-to-admission and through death processes.
- Ensures quality care, documentation and collaboration are within guidelines.
- Supports direct care coordination, ensures hospice eligibility, and oversees recordkeeping functions.
- Provides orientation, education, training and/or competencies, as needed.
- Maintain and implement operational policies and procedures to meet patient and family needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements guidelines and Care Initiatives Hospice policies and procedures.
- Support and facilitate educational directives of the Administrator and/or corporate leadership.
- Other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
- Active RN license (or ability to activate) in the state(s) in which you operate.
- Active CPR certification.
- Hospice or palliative care experience.
- At least one year in a leadership or charge nurse position or relative experience.
- Two years of recent clinical experience in hospice, oncology, home health or public health nursing; hospice experience preferred.
- Home access to the internet.
- Hospice and Palliative Registered Nurse Certification (CHPN) preferred, or ability to obtain within 24 months of employment.
