Care Initiatives is now hiring a Business Development Community Representative to join our Team!
Care Initiatives is the largest nonprofit nursing home organization with over forty (40) skilled nursing communities, seven (7) hospice offices (and growing!), plus our own internal staffing agency, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support at every stage of the healthcare journey.
Summary: To establish positive relationships with community sources with the intent to enhance patient referrals; to establish appropriate professional and public relationships that will encourage and develop short-term and long-term referral sources.

What you'd do as a Community Representative at Care Initiatives:
- Designs and implements a marketing plan primarily designed to meet the needs of professional referral partners in long-term care.
- Leads efforts in establishing broader community engagement.
- Completes marketing calls; maintains record keeping system on marketing activities, including documenting referrals in the clinical record.
- Develops implements and evaluates initiatives designed to promote awareness and understanding of Care Initiatives’ programs and services in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
- 2-3 years of proven success in healthcare marketing and/or sales.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care, highly preferred.
- An understanding of the continuum of care and the admissions process, highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
