- Provide catheter care and assist with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with hospice care regulations.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to address concerns and preferences.
- Support dementia care initiatives by implementing tailored strategies that enhance patient engagement and comfort.
- Assist in training staff on best practices related to hospice care systems and patient management.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospice care or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and systems related to patient care.
- Skills in cooking and preparing meals for patients as needed.
- Experience in providing compassionate assistance to individuals with varying health conditions, particularly those requiring specialized attention such as dementia care.
